Suburban Memory

The noSHBerlin Playlist

Music has always been part of the atmosphere surrounding noSHBerlin.

Certain songs carry places, people and moments long after they disappear. A voice heard at the right time, a bassline coming from an open window, a track connected forever to a summer, a friendship, a neighborhood, a mistake, a beginning.

Today we launch Suburban Memory, the first official noSHBerlin Spotify playlist.

Built around artists from Germany, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark, the playlist moves through electronic music, ambient sounds, post-club melancholy, forgotten classics, contemporary experiments and unexpected discoveries.

It follows the territory that inspires this project: the distance between the center and the periphery. The places between destinations. The edges of cities. The hours that seem disconnected from ordinary time.

This is not a playlist dedicated to one genre or one scene. It is a collection of sounds shaped by movement, memory, friendship, isolation, freedom, nostalgia and curiosity.

Music for people who feel at home somewhere between arrival and departure.

Welcome to Suburban Memory.

Music from the distance between the center and the periphery.
